Caterina Fake, co-founder of Yes VC, co-founder of Flickr and Hunch, and trustee of The Sundance Film Institute joins the Miltton Group board. She is also the host of a podcast on technology’s effect on humanity, and has recently joined the Lifeline SPAC board.
With her vast experience as a startup entrepreneur and investor, and her deep roots in Silicon Valley, Fake will have a key role in guiding Miltton’s continued growth and international expansion. She will start in her new role in November.
“Miltton’s past journey and future ambitions are impressive. The company has a unique way of combining competences from business, culture and society, and in so doing, helping clients design their operations to navigate and succeed in a complex and fast-changing world. The organization Miltton has built in the Nordics has great international potential. I’m energized by this opportunity which provides me with a gateway to the Nordics, and the potential to bring fresh Nordic thinking to the rest of the world”, says Caterina Fake.
“We are excited to welcome Caterina to the Miltton board. Her exceptional professional journey, broad societal engagement and impressive track record as an investor and entrepreneur speak for themselves. We are particularly pleased to be able to build on her insights and network within the global start-up, investor and technology ecosystem,” says Miltton Group’s founder and CEO Mathias Järnström.
Earlier this summer, the former Mayor of Helsinki, Jan Vapaavuori, joined the Miltton Group board chaired by Mr Jorma Ollila.
