Consultant (Swedish-speaking), Brussels

Miltton Europe, the EU PA arm of Miltton, is looking for a Swedish-speaking consultant to strengthen our team in Brussels.

If you have experience in working with European Union affairs and a passion for developing EU stakeholder relations for different businesses and organisations, this role might be for you. We expect you to possess a knowledge of the EU institutional framework and decision-making processes, experience from EU affairs, preferably related to sustainability, industrial policy, energy or digitalisation, and a keen interest in European politics. Our working language is English, but as you will take primary responsibility for our Swedish-speaking clients, we expect you to be a proficient writer and communicator both in Swedish and English. Knowledge of other languages is also an asset.

Our team works with a diverse range of customers and projects focusing on background analysis, strategic planning and practical support for our customers’ public affairs work. As a consultant, we expect you to take active part in developing our client relationships as well as attracting new business. Experience from team and project management and development of trusted client relationships would be an advantage.

We value teamwork skills, the ability to learn new things, to take responsibility and adapt to a fast-paced environment. In general, a can-do attitude and drive to get things done will get you far at Miltton. We offer you a future-oriented and flexible workplace, and a service-minded team of public affairs professionals in Brussels that is not afraid of challenging itself.

As part of Miltton group, you get to work with some of the best experts from different parts of society, and with clients ranging from top Nordic/European companies and organisations to international brands, NGOs and public administration. With over 350 colleagues in all our Miltton offices in Helsinki, Stockholm, Tallinn, Riga and Washington D.C., and clients from all over Europe, you have a chance to apply your existing skills while learning something new.

We provide modern tools of your choice and facilities to support different types of work. You have the chance to influence your clients, your own work, and Miltton’s story: you can bring in your own ambitions and realise them together with a capable community. The post is available from August 1, 2022, but we might be flexible concerning the start date once we find the right candidate. Please submit your CV and motivation letter in English to by June 30, 2022.
