The Finnish Red Cross, FRC, helps people in times of accidents or crises in Finland and abroad.
Challenge
The forms of crisis and help are diversifying and so is the role of Finnish Red Cross. The aim for the project was to crystallize the image of Finnish Red Cross, build trust and renew the visual identity while utilizing the most recognized elements of the most known brand in the world.
Creative solution
Through a fruitful co-creation process, we renewed Finnish Red Cross’ brand strategy together with hundreds of volunteers and employees. We were able to create a brand core and narrative that would fit the current times but be resilient in changing environments and crisis.
Brand assets
After the brand crystallization, we created a modern but familiar visual identity and tonality that expresses the Finnish Red Cross’ operations diversity but also follows the global convention. A fully new brand book and visual guidelines were created to guide both employees and volunteers in their work and the Finnish Red Cross’ distinctive channels.
