Juho Paasonen joins Miltton to strengthen design thinking and expertise

The creative consultancy Miltton has appointed Juho Paasonen as Director, Design, to deepen the expertise of design thinking within the organization and in client projects. Paasonen will start in April and will be in charge of developing and leading multi-dimensional client projects and offers.

Juho joins Miltton from Posti, where he worked as the Head of Design, building Posti’s first-ever in-house service design community, and directing design work across all customer channels. He has extensive global experience of product and service design, design management, innovation acceleration, and design-driven transformations from multiple international organizations including Google, Zalando, and Nokia. He has also been a prominent design leadership and change management coach in Finland and internationally.

“Modern design isn’t just moments of interaction between a customer and a service provider, or a beautifully crafted functional object. It’s a problem-solving mechanism – a momentous driver of positive cultural change towards human-driven business,” Juho says.

“My whole career, I’ve been passionate about how design can be a bridge-builder and do quantifiable good in the world, and there is no better platform to explore this than Miltton. I also see this as a wonderful opportunity for me personally to grow and learn every day while working alongside an absolutely stellar team from a wide variety of professional fields,” Juho continues.

Juho will be leading complex projects that require expertise with different kinds of design tools and human-centered approaches. He will also be developing internal processes and design capabilities at Miltton.

“We are very excited to welcome Juho to strengthen our expertise, as Miltton is currently growing in a number of markets. He brings us insight from global arenas in solving business challenges with the help of design. Transformations that are crucial to the success of our clients, such as business or organizational culture development, require the ability to combine different tools and viewpoints more innovatively. By bringing stronger design expertise as a part of all our services, we can help our clients more comprehensively and efficiently in the future,” says Antti Salomaa, Managing Director of Miltton’s operations in Finland.
