Milja Henttonen joins Miltton’s Public Affairs team

The consultancy Miltton has appointed Milja Hentonen as Senior Advisor in Public Affairs. She will start on the 12th of September and strengthen, in particular, the holistic approach to multi-channel Public Affairs communications.

Milja has extensive experience in political communications and in her most recent role before joining Miltton, she acted as the Communications Advisor for the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Emma Kari and the Minister of the Interior Maria Ohisalo. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and has wide experience working within the politics and communications sphere in a variety of roles, for example as a communications strategist and consultant.

“I am very excited to join Miltton. Societal advocacy, understanding political processes and strategic public affairs are increasingly important for corporations, organizations and the public sector, now that the world is in turmoil. I hope to join Miltton’s team with analytical, inclusive and diverse knowledge in communications and public affairs. And not forgetting the fun!” Milja says.
Milja brings with her even more new expertise on how to successfully combine public affairs and communications, and expands the impact and versatility of the team.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Milja to the growing Miltton Public Affairs team. Successful public affairs, lobbying and stakeholder relations are about successfully communicating the organization’s societal voice and thoughts. Our clients will be able to utilize Milja’s strong know-how in communications, especially when looking at the upcoming Parliamentary Elections and the societal discussions heating up in the Autumn. Everyone should now be making use of the space of that discussion,” says Elina Moisio, Managing Director of Public Affairs in Miltton Finland.
