Miltton widens its presence in the Baltics by expanding to Latvia

The international consultancy Miltton widens its geographical reach in the New Nordics by establishing Miltton Latvia. The new office will continue the strong Pan-Baltic business model and close collaboration with Nordic countries.

Miltton Latvia will be offering PR and communication, as well as public affairs services. The services includes a wide array of business consultancy – reputation management, media relations, organization of offline and online events, crisis communication, CSR and sustainability, marketing communication and campaign support, public affairs, leadership advisory and change management consultancy services. Additionally, the company will offer full-service support for companies willing to enter the Latvian market, from market research and competition mapping to image building and PR services.

“Miltton’s presence in the Baltics – or the New Nordics as we see these countries at Miltton Group – is self-evident. Our aim is to be a partner to our customers on all shores of the Baltic sea,” Mathias Järnström, founder and CEO of Miltton Group says.

The new company will be led by an experienced communication professional, Viesturs Deksnis, who will take the helm as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Miltton Latvia. “Our approach combines centralized aligned planning and reporting with local execution that takes cultural differences into account. The Baltics can and often should be seen as one market, but we are still three different countries,” Deksnis points out. “Building on the strength of collaborating closely and simultaneously acknowledging the uniqueness of the three countries is a winning cocktail.”

With a parent company in Estonia and strong partners in Lithuania, Miltton Latvia will be a unique consultancy with a strong Pan-Baltic core team composed of industry professionals with experience in cross-border projects. Despite its recent establishment, the agency’s customer base already consists of several well-known brands in Latvia and Europe, for example “Radio SuperHits” (part of “EHR Media Group”), “Aldaris (part of Carlsberg Group)”, and “Hepsor”.

“Having begun its history in the New Nordics in Estonia, where Miltton now has more than 50 employees and offers services ranging from change management and public affairs to digital marketing and events, widening our geographical scope is clearly the most logical next step,” Annika Arras, CEO of Miltton New Nordics says. “Many of our customers have business in the other Baltic countries or in the Nordics. It is only beneficial for them to have a partner able to see and support their business as a whole.”

Miltton’s mission is to be the most trusted advisor for companies in their home markets as well as for international organizations in the region. The group’s Latvian company aims to become one of the leading communication agencies in the industry in the next three to five years.

Established in 2001, Miltton Group has grown to become a leading Nordic advisor in communications, leadership, marketing, insight, and stakeholder relations. It employs more than 350 professionals working in Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Brussels, Washington DC, and now Latvia, and has strong partners in several other markets, including Lithuania and the St. Petersburg area in Russia.
