Suominen is an international corporation that manufactures nonwovens. Miltton has worked with Suominen in recent years to renew their brand and visual identity, and to implement these in all of their communications and marketing assets.
Suominen felt that their brand – particularly the visual identity – did not represent the company in its current state. They wanted to highlight their Nordic roots and their global efforts to make nonwovens more sustainable.
The starting point of the brand renewal was the Nordics, and what they represent in topics such as quality, sustainability, welfare and nature.
Our goal was to make Suominen look and sound closer to their vision of being the frontrunner in the innovation and sustainability of nonwovens. The work began with creating the brand story together with the client, as well as renewing the brand’s look and feel.
The brand was built around the slogan ‘Pure Nordic quality’.

During the last 2-3 years, we have been able to implement the new visuals in all of the communications and marketing assets that Suominen has created. The results can be seen in several video productions we have made together, as well as in brand and product photography.
Suominen has also renewed its annual report in tandem with the brand renewal. The annual report features the new visual identity, but also boasts new content and structural elements, reflecting the new brand while representing a strategic tool to promote the company and its innovations and achievements.
