Jumpstsart, which runs from late spring to autumn each year, is Miltton’s apprenticeship program for students and career-minded individuals who are ready to take off and are open to new experiences, skills, knowledge and introductions.
ONE CLASS
Although individual internships take place at different times, all trainees start and finish together and are constantly in contact with each other over the four months through joint training, events and tasks. In addition, there is one common project to lead during the programme.
AMBITIOUS PEOPLE
We are looking for people from different walks of life to join our programme. If you come from disciplines such as communication, journalism, sociology, economics, marketing, political science, public administration, international relations, environmental management, management, but also anthropology, dramaturgy and psychology, you’ll fit in well. But we are also open to surprises or a combination of any of the above. However, despite all the above, it is you as a person that counts. Your first language is also not important as long as you speak English or Estonian.
A FOUR-MONTH PROGRAM
The programme starts in May and finishes in September. We’ll talk about topics such as design thinking, creative writing, marketing communications, responsible business, the ins and outs of government relations or lobbying, project management, building customer relationships and much more. During the programme, there will also be a range of social events to get to know each other better.
PERSONAL MENTOR
Each trainee will have their own personal mentor throughout the traineeship, one of the top people in the field from the Miltton team. The mentor will be your friend who helps manage your assignments and development at Miltton.
6 WEEK WORK PLACEMENT
The most intensive period of the four-month programme is the 6-week paid work placement, during which the trainees are involved in the day-to-day work of Miltton as equal team members.
