Responsible growth
We believe in kindness.
Because kindness builds trust, and we want Miltton to be a safe place for daring ideas and caring people. Because kindness brings forth societally responsible humane growth and investments, letting us do and become better together with our clients.
We know what it takes to grow.
Miltton has not been built in a day. We are propelled by courage, creativity and grit. If there is an opportunity for us, our clients and society to grow, we seize it, mindful of the impact we have.
This decade the world needs change more than ever before. Our business is about bringing together people as talented as they are different from each other. We believe in the intentions, integrity, and creative force of the people we hire and work with.
We empower changemakers.
Miltton is committed to responsible business and communications, and we develop our corporate responsibility continuously. We are a participant in the UN Global Compact and our guiding principles are detailed in Miltton’s Code of Conduct. See our UN Global Compact Communication on Progress report here.
In addition, Miltton is a member of the Finnish corporate responsibility network FIBS. In Estonia, we are active members and advocates of the Responsible Business Forum, members of the Coalition for Sustainable Development, and have joined the diversity initiative launched by the Human Rights Center.
Over the years, Miltton has helped various pro bono clients to raise awareness of their causes. Giving back to the community is of great importance to our entire personnel. How we select our pro bono clients is always influenced by people working at Miltton.
We want to promote an open, transparent operating culture, and as part of ensuring this we have introduced a channel for reporting suspected abuse.
The introduction of this channel is based on the so-called EU Whistleblower Directive (EU 2019/1937), which applies to companies with more than 250 people from December 17 2021, and to companies with more than 50 persons from December 17 2023.
The notification channel for suspected abuse is a system implemented by an external service provider that operates detached from our own systems. The report can be made electronically and anonymously.
The whistleblowing channel provides our customers, employees and other stakeholders a confidential channel for bringing under internal investigation a suspicion of possible misconduct or breach of policy.
The Whistleblowing service used by Miltton operates at https://www.firstwhistle.fi/miltton and you can choose to use it in English, Finnish, Swedish or Estonian.
