Miltton joins in bringing Finland’s climate leadership to the global stage

Finland will participate in COP30 in Belém with its own pavilion. In collaboration with the Climate Leadership Coalition, the Confederation of Finnish Industries, the Finland Chamber of Commerce, and the Technology Industries of Finland, Miltton is helping to create a platform that enables showcasing Finnish innovations, fostering international influence, and building valuable partnerships.

Finland’s first pavilion at COP28 in Dubai was a success, in which Miltton was proud to contribute. We supported our partners in communications, event planning, and execution, ensuring that Finnish climate solutions received the visibility they deserve. The pavilion became a meeting place where businesses, policymakers, and researchers engaged in discussions about Finnish expertise and opportunities for collaboration.

COP30 is more relevant than ever. The host country, Brazil, is home to some of the world’s most diverse ecosystems, and the Amazon rainforest plays a critical role in combating climate change. Key themes at the climate conference include climate adaptation, renewable energy solutions, biodiversity conservation, and the social impacts of climate change. Finland’s pavilion will highlight solutions to these critical challenges, reinforcing Finland’s position as a leader in sustainability.

“Participating in COP30 is not just about visibility; it is a strategic opportunity to open doors to new markets, build collaborations, and ensure that Finnish solutions are part of future climate policies and investments. Our goal is to ensure that Finnish organizations and stakeholders don’t just attend COP30 – they make an impact,” says Jan Westö, Chief Growth Officer at Miltton.

Miltton is a key partner in implementing this initiative, offering expertise in strategic communications and international collaboration. The pavilion aims to provide Finnish organizations with a significant platform where they can showcase their expertise, engage in meaningful discussions, and strengthen their position in global markets.

Registration for the pavilion is open until April 4, 2025, for businesses, cities, organizations, and research institutions. We are looking for participants to present Finnish innovations, solutions, and perspectives on mitigating and adapting to climate change. Spaces are limited.
