Miltton, a leading player in sustainability consulting, and Saidot, a forerunner in responsible AI, are entering into a strategic partnership. The partnership combines Miltton’s strong expertise in sustainability, change management and strategic communications with Saidot’s advanced, internationally scalable AI governance solutions.

The importance of AI in business and society is constantly growing, but its use requires increasingly extensive risk management and the ensuring of legal compliance. The first requirements of the EU AI Act took effect in February 2025, and more requirements are coming this year and next.

This year, Miltton has invested and will continue to invest extensively in risk management services, which include sustainability, crisis communication, advisory on change management and anticipating changes in the operating environment. The solutions developed by Saidot help clients operate in accordance with regulatory requirements and enable the entire lifecycle management of AI systems, risk identification and regulatory compliance documentation.

The partnership between Miltton and Saidot brings practical and strategic solutions to companies and organizations that allow them to increase the use of AI and the benefits derived from it ethically, responsibly and in accordance with EU regulations.

“Companies and organisations need concrete solutions to ensure the responsible use of AI. The cooperation with Saidot gives us the opportunity to combine strategic sustainability communication consulting and advanced technological solutions that allow our clients to utilise AI competitively while managing risks,” says Eeva Taimisto, Director of Responsibility Consulting and Communications at Miltton.

Veera Siivonen, Chief Commercial Officer and Co-Founder of Saidot, says: “According to McKinsey’s recent State of AI study, CEO’s oversight of AI governance—that is, the policies, processes, and technology necessary to develop and deploy AI systems responsibly—is one element most correlated with higher self-reported bottom-line impact from an organization’s generative AI use. Management’s commitment to AI governance is therefore important not only from a responsibility and regulatory perspective, but also to ensure business benefits. Together with Miltton, we help organizations implement a responsible and profitable AI transformation.”

The strategic partnership further strengthens the position of both companies in the international market.

“Companies need to develop their AI solutions as quickly and efficiently as possible, and managing the responsible use of technology is a key part of management at Miltton as well. It is one of the most important strategic issues for companies and organisations around the world. Miltton and Saidot are aiming for a global market in this area,” says Kaius Niemi, Deputy CEO of Miltton Group.

Headquartered in Helsinki, Saidot is a Finnish AI governance company committed to helping businesses safely integrate AI into their operations. Saidot’s SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform is used by both major companies and public organisations for systematic AI governance. Comprising a range of technical, policy and AI governance experts, Saidot’s interdisciplinary team is enthusiastic about the opportunities for advancement presented by AI and machine learning technology and believes that AI usage can be aligned with human values to be an ethical and trustworthy driver of progress.
