Do you want to be part of the Finland Pavilion’s official programme through your own content, initiative, or event? Do you work outside the corporate sector, for example in an NGO, academic institution, municipality, or ministry, and have a topic or perspective that appeals to a global audience and that you would like to present on stage?

We are allocating the pavilion’s available programme slots among the strongest Open Event Call applications.

Open Call participation:

  • Reserved for civil society organizations, public authorities, and UN agencies whose activities align with the pavilion’s themes, including for example fossil-free industrial society, digitalisation and climate-smart solutions, the future of the circular and bioeconomy, and resilience under climate pressure. These themes reflect Finland’s strengths as a stable, green innovation hub and guide the curation of the pavilion’s official programme.
  • The opportunity to host at least one (1) event at the Finland Pavilion, subject to programme availability and the selection process.
  • The possibility to discuss one (1) Blue Zone accreditation for an event representative, subject to availability and applicable approval processes.
  • Visibility through selected Finland Pavilion communications.
  • Free of charge; However, event slots are limited, and selections are made based on strategic alignment, programme balance, and available resources.

Before submitting an application, applicants are encouraged to read the event organizer guidance materials.

The Finland Pavilion is a joint initiative of the Ministry of the Environment, Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Climate Leadership Coalition, Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK), Finland Chamber of Commerce, Technology Industries of Finland and UN Global Compact Network Finland. This collaboration builds on the success of Finland’s presence at previous COPs. Once again, we are coming together to highlight solutions born of resilience: innovations shaped by northern grit and global ambition.
