“In an increasingly volatile operating environment, it is essential to understand where our clients’ opportunities and barriers to growth lie. Through creative problem-solving, we help our clients build solutions that inspire interest, trust, and action. Reetta’s appointment strengthens our ability to combine strategic insight with effective execution,” says Katariina Harteela, Executive creative director at Miltton.

Wallén joins Miltton from Bob the Robot, where she has worked for the past five years. She is also returning to a company where she previously worked as a copywriter and concept designer.

Wallén is known for her strong conceptual thinking and long-term approach to brand building. Her work on the Tilipäivä campaign for S Group has been recognized at competitions including Vuoden Huiput, Effie Awards, and Grand One. In her new role, she will develop creative concepts, cultural phenomena, and growth-driving solutions grounded in clients’ business objectives.

According to Harteela, Wallén brings a unique combination of strategic thinking and an ability to create insights that truly resonate with people.

“Reetta’s expertise strengthens our ability to build our clients’ brands over the long term and discover new ways to support their growth. Together with Miltton’s multidisciplinary experts, this creates particularly exciting opportunities,” Harteela says.

What attracts Wallén to Miltton is the opportunity to combine creative work with broad societal and business understanding, as well as an international perspective. As audiences divide their attention across an ever-growing number of channels, brands must find ways to become a meaningful part of people’s lives.

“As the media landscape becomes increasingly fragmented, brands need to create conversations rooted in genuine insights and a deep understanding of people’s needs. At Miltton, research, strategic advisory, stakeholder expertise, and technology bring perspectives to creative work that can generate entirely new kinds of insights. We also have a strong capability to bring ideas to life through PR, influencer marketing, social media, and events,” Wallén says.

“A stunt is just a stunt if it lacks a strategic foundation or a business objective. At its best, creativity builds cultural relevance, competitive advantage, and tangible business results at the same time,” she says.
